Separate road time from visit time
The route page gives the current planning estimate for the direct drive from Baku. That estimate does not include sightseeing, meals or traffic changes. A day return includes the road in both directions, so choose your main priority first and then add stops around it. If your main aim is a relaxed mountain stay, an overnight may fit better.
A suggested day-return structure
Start with pickup from your Baku accommodation, travel towards Gabala and make your planned comfort stops. Choose a main visit such as Nohur Lake or a Tufandag activity, leave time for lunch and agree when to begin the return. Treat other attractions as optional. Check opening and operating conditions before departure rather than relying on a rigid list.
When an overnight helps
An overnight gives more flexibility for a slower afternoon and can avoid repeating the Baku road if you continue towards Sheki. Share the hotel address, check-in arrangement and next day’s plan before requesting the fare. A one-way transfer, a day return and a driver remaining available overnight are different bookings.
Luggage and clothing
Tell the driver whether luggage will stay in the car during visits or be dropped at a hotel. List large suitcases and sports equipment separately. Take layers for time outside the car and suitable footwear for the places you choose. If a stop involves steps or walking, discuss your group’s needs before including it.
What is included
Waiting and stops along the journey are included in published DriverBaku fares, so photo and comfort breaks do not carry an extra stop charge. Send a request that matches the trip
Write whether you want a one-way transfer, a same-day return or an overnight plan. Add your travel dates, pickup and hotel addresses, passenger and luggage counts and the two or three places most important to you. For an onward Sheki journey, include that from the start so the whole route can be considered together.
Choose the purpose of the visit
A day focused on one attraction is different from a day combining several activity areas, restaurants and a walk. Tell the driver which part you most want to experience and which stops are optional. Check an activity’s current opening and admission conditions with its operator. The transport booking covers the confirmed car journey; it does not reserve attraction entry or guarantee that a weather-dependent activity will operate.
Compare an overnight before fixing your hotel
An overnight may give more room for a slower visit, but it changes hotel costs, luggage and the following day’s route. State whether the car is needed between visits or only for transfer to and from the hotel. If you want to continue to Sheki, request the entire sequence together. This lets the quotation reflect the actual driving plan instead of assuming every journey returns to Baku.
