Planning notes
- Driving time and time spent visiting are different. Confirm the estimate for each hotel-to-hotel leg; meals, queues and stops add to it.
- Hotels, admission, food and guide services are separate. A late arrival or early departure shortens the usable plan.
A westbound week with breathing room
This suggested plan keeps two nights in Gabala and brings you back to Baku before the departure day. It is a route proposal for your own party, not a record of a completed guest trip. Use the daily outline below to decide where the car is needed. Flights, hotels and attraction reservations are booked separately.
Adapt the week to children and hotel check-in
With young children, leave the fourth day for one main outing and a return to the same hotel. Ask each hotel about check-in, checkout and luggage storage. If you prefer fewer hotel changes, remove the Sheki overnight and ask for a revised plan; do not squeeze it into a long day merely to preserve every place on the list.
Keep northern destinations as a separate choice
Quba, Khinalig and Shahdag should be considered as a different route choice from the Gabala–Sheki sequence. If a mountain resort is your priority, replace part of this western plan and request a new hotel sequence. Discuss road conditions before confirming a mountain trip. Avoid adding a distant outing to the final day before an international flight.
Build the full budget before confirming
Ask for one transport quote showing each date, hotel transfer and period of driver availability. Then add your own hotel, food, entrance-ticket and activity budgets. A published one-way or same-day return fare does not buy seven days of continuous service. Specify payment currency, passengers and luggage, plus any requested child seat. The itinerary is confirmed only after availability and the complete fare are agreed.
